I'm fifteen years old and currently reside in Malden, Massachusetts. It's a city overrun with wiggers, jocks, and goths. "Skater boy" is a local favorite, and is usually muttered or sung by anybody if you walk by them with a skateboard in your hand. The projects are dangerous, and you are advised not to go through without Jam'n 94.5 pumped up all the way with bass boost. I learned this lesson the hard way, when I got a camera stolen in the heart of ghetto Malden in May 2003. What some may not know about this city is the secret underground skate life. GB (Greenbum) is THE Malden skate crew, ya heard? Since 2001, this crew has been ripping the streets on such famous spots as the big 3 and Linden (strutures). I've caught the action with anything from hi-8 to rocket launcher (enormous VHS camera, as seen in the Firm tour while Wild Will is talking) to VX-1000. Using my guardian angels- longlense which sits on my left shoulder and fisheye on my right- I have become known notoriously as "Shaun Filmall".After high school, I want to go to film school (possibly USC) and become the world's next great film director/writer. But for now I just have to keep it real on the mean streets of Malden. In a time with Ty Evans wannabes lurking the streets, I strive to keep local skate videos as original as possible, without compromising quality. Malden Invincible, long live GB!
